The New Baltimore Police Department consists of seventeen (17) full time sworn officers including the chief, three (3) full time police cadets, four (4) summer cadets and one civilian clerk. The majority of officers are assigned to patrol. Currently the department has one Detective and one School Liaison Officer that assists with investigations.

Our Community Policing program enhances safety through bicycle patrols, youth activities including bicycle rodeos, "Shop With a Cop" and many others. With the support of community leaders, the Department will strengthen it's patrol efforts and provide the City with a solid base to fight crime in our community.

I would like to thank ALL of the people who continue to help make the Department what it is. I would especially like to thank all the dedicated volunteers that work so many of our projects, without their support these programs would not be possible. The countless hours donated and the interruptions of a normal life can never be compensated.

I would also like to thank all the dedicated officers for their professionalism, expertise, and the unselfish and untiring contribution which helps make the City of New Baltimore a city where people can live, work and play with the knowledge that the members of the New Baltimore Police Department are doing everything possible to ensure this a safer community with each passing day.
